Terms and Conditions
Rules for using the website, alerts, accounts and career tools
These Terms and Conditions govern access to NaukriEngine, including its pages, job and examination updates, accounts, alerts, forms, career tools and related services. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Important: NaukriEngine is an independent information website. It is not a government department, examination board, employer, recruiting agency or official application portal. The original notification and the issuing organisation’s website always remain the final authority.
1. About the service
NaukriEngine organises publicly available information about government jobs, recruitment notices, admit cards, examination dates, answer keys, results, syllabi, interviews and document verification. We are not a government website, recruitment authority, employer, examination board or staffing agency.
2. Official information and your responsibility
Recruiting organisations may change vacancies, reservation rules, eligibility, fees, schedules, selection procedures and links without prior notice to us. Before applying, paying a fee, attending an examination, filing an objection or relying on a result, you must read the latest official notice and instructions.
Use of a summary does not transfer responsibility for checking the official source to NaukriEngine.
3. No job, eligibility or result guarantee
We do not guarantee eligibility, acceptance of an application, issue of an admit card, marks, rank, shortlisting, appointment, employment, salary, visa approval or any other outcome. Final decisions are made only by the relevant authority or employer.
4. Lawful use
You may use the service for genuine personal, educational, recruitment-information or career-planning purposes. You must not use it to commit fraud, impersonate another person, spread malware, promote fake jobs, collect unauthorised payments or interfere with another user’s access or privacy.
5. Accounts and security
If an account is required, provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity through your account until you report suspected unauthorised use. We may restrict an account where there is evidence of abuse, false identity, automated misuse or a security risk.
6. Alerts and notifications
Email, browser or other alerts are convenience features. Delivery can be delayed, duplicated or blocked by a device, browser, network or third-party provider. An alert is not an official notice and should never be the sole basis for a deadline-sensitive decision.
7. Career Assistant and matching tools
Eligibility, profile-signal, job-match, readiness and career-guidance tools provide general assistance based on the information available to the system. They do not provide a final eligibility ruling, legal opinion, professional counselling or assurance of selection. Category relaxations, domicile rules, physical standards, experience and subject requirements must be checked in the official notice.
8. Resume and document tools
You are responsible for reviewing any resume or document created through a website tool. Do not include fabricated qualifications, false experience, confidential third-party information or unlawful content. We are not responsible for an employer’s or authority’s decision based on a user-created document.
9. Prohibited automated activity
You must not scrape, mirror, bulk-copy, resell or systematically republish substantial parts of the service without permission. You must not bypass access controls, send excessive requests, probe the server, introduce harmful code or use automation in a way that degrades the service for others.
10. Third-party and official links
The website links to independent government, recruitment, payment, document and other third-party websites. A link does not mean that we control or guarantee that website. Check the domain and security before submitting personal information, documents or payment details.
11. Advertising and sponsored material
The service may display advertising, affiliate links or sponsored material. Such content does not change official recruitment rules and should be distinguishable from editorial information. We are not a party to a transaction between a visitor and an advertiser unless expressly stated.
12. Intellectual property
The NaukriEngine name, original explanations, software, layouts, graphics and tools are owned by or licensed to the site operator. Government notices, department names, logos, trademarks and third-party documents belong to their respective owners. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted; unauthorised commercial reproduction is not.
13. Feedback and submissions
When you send a correction, suggestion or other submission, you confirm that you have the right to provide it. You allow us to use it only as reasonably necessary to investigate the issue, respond, improve the service or correct a page.
14. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. Never send a password through email or a general contact form.
15. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue a page, category, tool or account feature. Maintenance, security fixes, source changes or technical failures may interrupt access. We do not guarantee permanent storage, uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device or third-party service.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not make a warranty that every page is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing on the website is official government communication, legal advice or financial advice.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NaukriEngine and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. This includes a missed deadline, rejected application, travel expense, reliance on outdated information, third-party fraud, data loss or action taken on an external website. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights or misuse of a third-party website reached through the service.
19. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
20. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in law, technology, security practices or the service. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after publication means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
21. Governing law and severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory rights available under applicable law. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
22. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected] or through the Contact page. The Editorial Policy, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer form part of the website’s transparency framework.
