Editorial Policy

The standards used to source, write, review, update and classify our pages

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains how NaukriEngine handles government job and examination information. Our objective is straightforward: publish a useful page only when the source and the core facts are strong enough, and keep uncertain material away from public listings.

Important: NaukriEngine is an independent information website. It is not a government department, examination board, employer, recruiting agency or official application portal. The original notification and the issuing organisation’s website always remain the final authority.

1. Source priority

We prefer primary sources: official government domains, commissions, boards, ministries, departments, public-sector organisations, universities, authorised application portals and original notices or PDFs. A discovery website or search result may help us locate an update, but its article is not treated as the authority.

Whenever possible, a page includes a link to the issuing organisation, official notice, result PDF, admit-card portal, answer-key document or application page.

2. Facts we may publish

We publish a fact only when it is present in a source that the system or an editor can reasonably connect to the issuing organisation. Depending on the update type, this may include the organisation name, post name, vacancy count, qualification, age rule, fee, dates, examination schedule, result link, objection window, venue or required documents.

We do not infer a salary, location, category benefit, qualification or deadline from a similar recruitment.

3. Type-aware editing

Every update is assigned a content type based on its title and notice intent. The page layout then follows that type:

  • Job: current vacancy, eligibility, dates, fees and application links when available.
  • Admit Card: download route, exam date, login requirement and exam-day guidance.
  • Result: result or merit document, release date and next stage.
  • Answer Key: provisional/final status, response sheet and objection period.
  • Syllabus: official syllabus, exam pattern and subject coverage.
  • Interview/Verification: schedule, venue, reporting details and documents when stated.

4. Missing information

A missing field is not an invitation to write filler. If an official notice does not clearly provide a fact, the field is omitted or the page remains under review. Repeated phrases such as “check the official notification for every detail” are not used to make a thin page appear complete.

5. Automated and AI-assisted work

Automation may help discover notices, remove duplicates, extract facts, classify an update and build a consistent layout. AI may assist with a single editorial writing pass when configured. The generated explanation must remain within the available facts and must pass type-safety, source, originality and usefulness checks.

Automated text is not published merely because it is grammatically correct. A polished page with weak facts is still a weak page.

6. Publication gate

Public publishing is limited each day. The gate checks the official-source connection, update type, core facts, freshness, readable length, duplicate similarity, originality, helpfulness and policy score. An item that fails a critical check is kept as Draft or Pending Review with a recorded reason.

7. Dates and freshness

We distinguish between the official notice date, the date a page was first published on NaukriEngine and the date on which facts were last reviewed. Importing or rebuilding an old page does not turn it into a new official notice.

Expired vacancies are removed from current-job listings, although an archived page may remain available for reference.

8. Corrections

When an error is confirmed against the latest official source, the page is corrected. Material changes may be noted in the page or revision record. A corrected page is not silently presented as though the wrong information never appeared.

See the Fact Check and Corrections Policy for the reporting process.

9. Independence and advertising

Editorial decisions are not sold to advertisers. If advertising, affiliate links or sponsored material are used, they should be distinguishable from the job information. Payment does not make a vacancy official and does not affect eligibility or selection.

10. Reviews of this policy

This policy is reviewed when the website introduces a new publishing tool, data source, user feature or advertising system. The current version is displayed on this page.
