Fact Check and Corrections Policy
How to report an error and what happens after a correction request
Recruitment information is time-sensitive. A changed deadline, revised vacancy count or fresh corrigendum can affect a candidate’s decision. We therefore treat clear, source-backed correction requests as an important part of the publishing process.
Important: NaukriEngine is an independent information website. It is not a government department, examination board, employer, recruiting agency or official application portal. The original notification and the issuing organisation’s website always remain the final authority.
What you can report
- An incorrect application, examination, result or objection date.
- A broken or misleading official link.
- A result, interview or answer-key notice placed in the wrong category.
- An unsupported qualification, fee, salary, vacancy or location.
- A duplicate page or a page that refers to an outdated notice.
- A spelling or formatting issue that changes the meaning of a fact.
Information to include
Please send the page URL, quote or describe the disputed text, and include the current official source. Screenshots can be helpful, but an official page or document link is usually the best evidence. Avoid sending Aadhaar numbers, application credentials, certificates or other sensitive personal documents.
How we review a report
- We identify the page and the connected database record.
- We compare the disputed fact with the issuing organisation’s latest available notice.
- We check for corrigenda, extensions or subsequent results that may explain the difference.
- If the error is confirmed, we update, reclassify, unpublish or redirect the page as appropriate.
- If the evidence is unclear, the page may be moved to Review Required while the source is checked again.
Correction timing
Simple broken-link or classification issues may be resolved quickly. A disputed eligibility rule, court-related change or conflicting official notice may require more time. We do not promise an exact response time, but reports containing a direct official source are prioritised.
Material and minor corrections
A minor spelling or layout correction may be made without a separate notice when it does not change the meaning. A material correction—such as a deadline, vacancy, qualification or result status—may update the factual-review date or carry a correction note.
Requests we may decline
We may decline a request that asks us to suppress accurate public information, alter an official result, publish an unsupported claim or remove criticism solely because it is inconvenient. Personal data requests are considered separately under the Privacy Policy.
Contact for corrections
Email [email protected] with the subject “Correction Request”, or use the Contact page. Please send one page per report where possible so the issue can be traced accurately.
